Generative AI: The Next Computing Platform Investment Webinar

Please join us for our investment webinar on "Generative AI: The Next Computing Platform", noon to 1:00pm, on Thursday, October 19th. 

This session presented by Tejas Dessai, Assistant Vice President, Research Analyst, and Ido Caspi, Private Markets Research Analyst, both with Global X, will provide insight into the history of Generative AI, an emerging technology that uses AI and ML algorithms that enable machines to create original work. The first generative models were created in the early 2000s; however, the generative adversarial network (GAN) was first designed in 2014, which lead to the birth of the term “Generative AI” and eventually the development of ChatGPT, a large language model (LLM) that can generate human-like text with a high level of accuracy.

Our presenters will also provide an introduction to Thematic Investing, which is a research-driven approach to analyzing structure changes worldwide, including how to distinguish between two distinct types of themes: cyclical and structural.

 

Also discussed will be the growth potential with Generative AI in terms of its place in the tech space with applications in a wide range of industries (such as health and wellness, robotics, E-commerce, energy, and infrastructure) and inclusion in client investment portfolios. Also discussed will be the opportunities and the risks Generative AI presents as an alternative income strategy. 

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this session, attendees will have a good understanding of Generative AI and its growth potential as an investment opportunity for clients as well as the concept of Thematic Investing in the Generative AI tech space.
