About The Event

We hope you will join us for our Second Annual Capital Markets Outlook: Midyear Review and Second Half Forecast panel discussion on Tuesday, July 16th. This is a free and exclusive "members only" chapter event. The program has been accepted by CFP Board for 2 CFP credits.

After a half hour of networking, cocktails (open beer/wine bar), and appetizers on the patio, dinner will be served and our panel discussion will begin.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Our moderated panel is comprised of senior professionals from five different investment firms, each having a differing area of expertise. They will address such issues as fiscal policy, market signals, rising volatility, domestic and international GDP projections, and expectations of stock and bond returns. Our moderator will then ask as many of your pre-submitted questions time allows on any investment topics. If time permits, our panel will field questions from the audience as well.

Please submit your investment questions (consolidating multiple questions into one email) to byrke.sestok@rightirementwp.com.

2018 ended with a huge decline in value of the S&P 500 and other equity indices. The first quarter or 2019 resulted in a rebound of that decline. More recently, trade wars with China, Mexico and other countries have headlined market movements resulting in increased equity volatility. US tensions with Iran are also increasing. Our panelists will review the US and international stock and bond markets for the first half of the year and provide their insights for what to expect for the second half from the Federal Reserve, Trump Administration policies, and their corporate views market performance.

Learning Objectives: At the end of this session, advisors will be better positioned to discuss what happened in the first half of the year and why with their clients. Advisors will also gain a better framework of what may come when speaking with their clients about the second half. Information gained may help shape medium term investment selection processes for advisor teams.
