About The Event
It is not unusual for financial planners to assume that Medicare is a constant and fixed program, separate from the other financial decisions made for and by their clients. This session will help planners understand how Medicare interacts, sometimes quite detrimentally, with other aspects of financial planning and investment management.
Equipped with this enhanced perspective, a financial planner can differentiate his advice from most other advisors while improving the outcomes for a meaningful percentage of retired and retiring clients. Our presenter, Mark Brownstein, CSA®, Director of Medicare with Emerald Medicare, will guide you through sorting out the many options and plans that are available to your Medicare eligible clients. Click here for Mark's bio.
Learning Objective(s):
1. Understand how Medicare interacts with other aspects of financial planning and investment management so as to improve outcomes for retired or retiring clients.
2. Understand the various options and plans available so clients receive all the benefits they are entitled to, as well as find coverage that is the best fit for their current and future financial circumstances and health care needs.
